Event
The Buntingford Year End 10 is a road race organised by Royston Runners on 28 December 2025 in Buntingford, Hertfordshire. The course is officially measured as 10 Miles and follows the same route used in recent years. There is a 2.5-hour cut-off; marshals and the finish-line team may start to withdraw after this. Special 40th anniversary medals are issued to all finishers within the cut-off. Trophies are awarded to the first three men and women and to first place in age categories 40, 50, 60 and 70. The event also incorporates the Hertfordshire Veterans Road Running County Championship with individual age categories (Women V35, V45, V55, V65 and V75; Men V40, V50, V60, V70 and V80) and team medals for clubs with three or more females and/or four or more males.
Course and facilities
The course is a one-lap, undulating road route and is listed as suitable for wheelchairs. Water is provided at the out-and-back point near Westmill (around 3.5 and 8 miles) and at the finish; the event aims to be cupless so participants are asked to bring a cup or bottle. There are no showers and parking is limited.
