Event overview
The Bunnyman Resolution Run is a timed running event held at the Workhouse Arts Center in Lorton, VA. The event offers two distances:
- 5k
- 10k
A virtual race option is available. The event is partnered with Operation Turbo and its "Boxes of Home" program.
Course and logistics
The course is paved with limited hills. The 5k is an out-and-back route completed once; the 10k is two laps of the 5k. Water stations are placed along the courses: four stations on the 5k at approximately miles 0.5, 1.25, 1.85 and 2.6; eight stations on the 10k at approximately miles 0.5, 1.25, 1.85, 2.6, 3.6, 4.35, 4.95 and 5.7. Gatorade will be available at some water stations. Port-a-johns will be located near the start/finish and additional restrooms are near the Visitor Center.
Registration, kit and results
Registration fees noted in the event text are:
- 5k: $35 until Dec 15 (then $40)
- 10k: $50 until Dec 15 (then $55) Prices increase by $5 on race morning. T-shirts are guaranteed for runners registered before Dec 17; extra shirts may be available afterward on a first-come, first-served basis.
Runners receive one glass of beer or wine from Bunnyman Brewing, a finisher medal, a technical (DriFit) event shirt, and chip timing. Live results are posted on Athlinks and final results with series points are posted the Monday after the race. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
