Bumble Bee Challenge Day 1
Bumble Bee Challenge Day 1 is scheduled for 26 September 2026 near Capel Lane, Littleham, Exmouth EX8 2QZ. The event is an 8 hour timed challenge described by the organiser as undulating and trail, and it uses a measured out-and-back lap of 5.3 km on an old disused train line that is run entirely on tarmac. There is an aid station at the end of each lap offering drinks and snacks.
The event operates a TUGG system (Turn Up Get Going) that allows participants to start at any time within the organiser's event window, provided they finish by the stated cutoff. Entrants who complete any number of laps within the allowed time are recorded as finishers and receive a medal and a small goody bag.
Other practical details include a maximum of 50 entrants, a minimum age of 18 years, an entries closing date of 25/09/2026, and a permit number recorded as ARC. The course is described as accurately measured and classified as Road despite its setting on a disused rail corridor.
