Bumble Bee Challenge Day 1
Bumble Bee Challenge Day 1 is scheduled for Saturday 26 September 2026 near Capel Lane, Littleham, Exmouth EX8 2QZ. The event is organised by Running Events Devon and is permitted under permit number ARC.
The event uses a TUGG system (Turn Up Get Going) that lets participants begin during the event window and requires completion within the overall time limit. Participants of all abilities may take part and must be at least 18 years old.
Each lap is 5.3 km, run as an out and back on a scenic route along an old disused train line. The course is accurately measured, classified as Road, and run entirely on tarmac. An aid station offering drinks and snacks is available at the end of each lap.
Participants who complete any number of laps within the permitted time are recorded as finishers and may collect a medal and a small goody bag. Examples of lap counts noted by the organiser include:
- 1 lap
- 4 laps
- 8 laps (marathon distance)
- 14 laps (most completed so far)
Entries are limited to 50 participants. Entries close on 25/09/2026. Entry categories and fees listed by the organiser include affiliated and unattached options, and lower-priced no perks options without a medal or goodies. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
