Bumble Bee Challenge Day 1 26 September 2026
Running Events Devon stages the Bumble Bee Challenge Day 1 near Capel Lane, Littleham, Exmouth EX8 2QZ on 26 September 2026. The event uses a TUGG system (Turn Up Get Going) so participants may start at different times within a permitted start window and complete as many laps as they can within the event time limit. The format is an eight hour timed event with an undulating course.
Each lap is 5.3 km, out and back along a scenic route on an old disused train line. The course is accurately measured, classified as Road, and is run entirely on tarmac. There is an aid station at the end of every lap offering drinks and snacks. Participants may walk or run and are recorded as finishers if they complete at least one lap within the permitted time; finishers receive a medal and a small goody bag.
Entrant numbers are limited to 50 and the minimum age is 18 years. Entries close on 25 September 2026. The event holds permit number ARC.
