Bumble Bee Challenge Day 1
Organised by Running Events Devon, the Bumble Bee Challenge Day 1 takes place on Saturday 26 September 2026 near Capel Lane, Littleham, Exmouth (EX8 2QZ). The event is an eight hour timed challenge with a flexible arrival system that allows participants to start within a permitted arrival window and requires all participants to finish by the event cutoff time.
The course is a scenic out-and-back loop of 5.3 km on an old disused train line. The route is accurately measured, run entirely on tarmac and therefore classified as Road. There is an aid station at the end of each lap providing drinks and snacks.
Participants may walk or run and complete as many laps as they can within the permitted time. Those who complete their final lap within the permitted time are classed as finishers and can collect a medal and a small goody bag. Entry categories include affiliated and unattached options, with an additional no perks option that excludes medal and goodies.
Key event details include a maximum of 50 entrants, minimum age 18 years, entries close 25/09/2026, and permit number ARC.
