Phoenix Running Devon stages Jelly Runners on the Exeter Quayside with an out-and-back route along the Exeter Canal path, passing the Double Locks. The course is a 5.3 km, 3.28 mile lap on a mix of hard trail and concrete footpath. The route is described as flat with no elevation.
Runners may complete as many laps as they wish within the event format. A minimum distance is one lap, 3.28 miles, or as far as the participant can go within the seven hour time limit. The event uses a flexible rock up and run approach to start times and can accommodate special start time requests depending on planned distance.
Entry options include standard entries, and a no medal entry option offered from £25. Listed entry fees include £33 for affiliated runners and £35 for unaffiliated runners. Standard entries include race support, an aid station, same-day results, athlete profiles, digital bibs, and digital finisher certificates. Organisers state that standard participants receive a giveaway medal or memento while a no medal option is available to reduce cost.
