The Drogo 10 : event overview
The Drogo 10 takes place on Sunday 16 November 2025 at Castle Drogo, Drewsteignton, near Exeter (EX6 6PB). The event is a fell race held under FRA rules and principles (Licence 2025-9639). Entry is for those aged 18 or older. The event is currently full and new entries are placed on a waiting list. Entry fee is £20.00. Optional long-sleeved technical race t-shirts are available for £12.00; the shirt design is made from 100% recycled polyester. Half of each entry fee will be donated to the National Trust for the upkeep of Castle Drogo.
Course and logistics
The course is designated BM with a distance of 10 miles (16 km) and 1760 ft (535 m) of climb. The route is described as hilly, muddy cross-country terrain with views of the Teign valley and includes the Hunter's Path hill. Water will be available at Fingle's Bridge (3.5 and 8.5 miles) and at the finish. This is a CUPLESS event. Signage will mark significant junctions and National Trust rangers will be stationed at strategic points. Car parking is available in the National Trust car parks at Castle Drogo at standard charges (free to National Trust members); parking on site is limited and some parking may be a distance from the start. No dogs or headphones are allowed. Runners may be required to use foot baths to clean shoes to reduce tree-related disease transmission.
