The Drogo 10
The Drogo 10 is a cross-country race held at Castle Drogo, Drewsteignton, near Exeter, EX6 6PB on 15 November 2026. The course is designated BM with a distance of 10 miles (16 km) and a total climb of 1760 ft (535 m). The route includes hilly, muddy terrain and the section known as Hunter's Path. The course passes areas with views of the Teign valley.
The event is held under FRA rules and principles (Licence 2026-10150). Signage is provided at significant junctions and National Trust rangers will be stationed at strategic points around the course. Water will be available at Fingle Bridge (3.3 and 8.4 miles) and at the finish. The event will operate without cups.
Car parking is in the National Trust car parks at Castle Drogo at standard charges, free to National Trust members. Parking on site is limited and later arrivals may be some distance from the start. The site remains open to regular National Trust visitors.
Entries are managed through SiEntries with entry fees listed as £20 and rising to £25 from 10 November 2026. The minimum age is 18. Transfers are permitted only via the SiEntries Sell feature under specified conditions. Refunds or deferrals are not permitted. Race awards include 1st to 3rd male and female overall and age category winners.
Additional notes: technical long sleeved event shirts are available for pre-order at £12 and are made from 100% recycled polyester. Dogs and headphones are not permitted. To help protect the estate there may be shoe cleaning foot baths. Half of each entry fee will be donated to the National Trust. The organisers reserve the right to cancel the race if conditions make the estate unsafe. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
