The Drogo 10 : event overview
The Drogo 10 is a fell race held at Castle Drogo, Drewsteignton, Exeter (EX6 6PB) on 16 November 2025. The event is run under Fell Runners Association (FRA) rules, Licence No. 2025-9639, and is designated BM with approximately 10 miles (16 km) distance and about 1760 ft (535 m) of climb. The race is described as multi-terrain, with a mix of woods, tracks and riverbank sections. The event is cupless; water is provided at Fingle Bridge (around 3.5 miles and 8.5 miles) and at the finish. Entry conditions: minimum age 18, maximum field 550, entry fee shown as £20.00, optional long-sleeved technical t-shirt available for £12.00. Entries are non-refundable and non-deferrable, but transfers are permitted using the SiEntries substitute function. Half of the entry fee is donated to the National Trust.

Course, facilities and rules
The start and finish are on the main driveway near the visitor centre, with signed route junctions and National Trust rangers at strategic points. Key course features include steep descents to Sharp Tor, a bridge crossing, twisting climbs such as a half-mile hill near 3.5 miles, a long climb up Hunters' Path, rocky river sections and a final undulating half mile to the finish. Recommended footwear includes grippy multi-terrain trainers or fell shoes. There are no changing or shower facilities. Restrictions: no dogs, no headphones, no navigational aids.
