Buckeye Sun Trail Runs
The Buckeye Sun Trail Runs take place in Lewis Center, Ohio on August 8. The event offers multiple loop-distance options on a measured trail course that runs alongside Alum Creek Reservoir. Race shirts are provided and all finishers receive a commemorative amenity.
The course is a 4.1 mile loop on a moderately rolling, wide-track trail. The loop is marked for navigation. Runners may choose to complete one to four laps on the same loop; lap options correspond to the event distances.
Distances available:
- 7K = 1 loop
- 13K = 2 loops
- 20K = 3 loops
- 26K = 4 loops
Check-in is located at the Start/Finish area just south of the trail entrance at the Boat Launch area. Parking is at the Galena Boat Ramp off Africa Road; participants are asked to park in designated areas only and not to park in grass or along the road.
Awards and results notes: all finishers receive a commemorative finisher amenity. The top three overall male and female finishers for each distance will receive awards. Registration closes on August 7. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
