Buckeye Sun Trail Runs - Lewis Center, OH
The Buckeye Sun Trail Runs take place on August 8, 2026, on trails near Alum Creek Reservoir in Lewis Center, OH. The event uses a looped trail course that is 4.1 miles per lap and is marked to assist with navigation. The surface is described as a moderately rolling, wide-track trail alongside views of Alum Creek Reservoir. Headlamps or a running light are required.
Distances are created by completing 1 to 4 laps of the loop:
- 7K = 1 loop
- 13K = 2 loops
- 20K = 3 loops
- 26K = 4 loops
Check-in is located at the Start/Finish area just south of the trail entrance at the boat launch area. Parking is available at the Galena Boat Ramp off Africa Road; participants are asked to park in designated areas and not in the grass or along the road.
All finishers receive a commemorative finishers amenity. The top three overall male and female finishers for each distance will receive awards. The course page includes an interactive route map for reference. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
