Buckeye Sun Trail Runs
The Buckeye Sun Trail Runs take place in Lewis Center, Ohio, featuring a course that travels through wooded areas and alongside the Alum Creek Reservoir. The event utilizes a loop-based system on moderately rolling, wide-track trails.
Participants can choose from four different distance options based on the number of laps completed on the 4.1-mile trail course. The trail is marked to assist with navigation throughout the event. Every time a participant completes a lap on the multi-lap courses, they pass through a designated celebration area near the start and finish line.
The available distances include:
- 7K (one loop)
- 13K (two loops)
- 20K (three loops)
- 26K (four loops)
The event home base is located at the boat launch area south of the trail entrance. Parking is available for participants at the Galena Boat Ramp off Africa Road in designated lot spaces. All finishers receive a commemorative amenity, and awards are issued to the top three overall male and female finishers in each distance category.
