The event includes several races:
- 5K Run/Walk
- Kids Dash 5 & Under (1/4-mile) - Suggested for ages 6 to 9.
- Kids Dash 6 & Over (1/4-mile)
Registration for the 5K is limited to 1,100 participants. Each Kids Dash has a limit of 75 participants.
Course and Location
The event takes place in Historic Dublin. The 5K course is described as a down-and-back route through this area, finishing with spectators lining the path.
Date and Registration
The event is scheduled for Thursday, July 30, 2026. It serves as the kick-off for the Dublin Irish Festival weekend. Early registration pricing for the 5K is $40, increasing after March 31, 2026. The Kids Dash events cost $5 each. Registration for all races has sold out in the three preceding years.
Participant Perks
Registration for the 5K includes a high-quality unisex event t-shirt, an official finisher medal, a one-day ticket to the Dublin Irish Festival, and one beverage from the event sponsor for participants 21 and over. A non-alcoholic option is provided for others.
Post-Race Activities
Following the races, there is a post-race party and concert that lasts until 9 p.m. There is no gear check at the event. A valid ID is required to receive or purchase alcohol. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
