Dublin Irish Festival 5K & Kids Dash

The Dublin Irish Festival 5K and Kids Dash takes place on July 30, 2026, in Historic Dublin at 86 S High St, Dublin, OH 43017. The event includes a five kilometer run or walk and two short youth races held as part of the Dublin Irish Festival weekend.

Registration for the 5K is limited to 1,100 entrants. Each of the age specific Kids Dash races is limited to 75 entrants. Organizers note that the races have sold out for the last three years.

The course is a down and back route through Historic Dublin with a finish area framed by spectators. After the finish there is a post race party and concert on site. There is no gear check available at the event.

All 5K participants receive an event t shirt, an official finisher medal, and a one day ticket to the Dublin Irish Festival. Registered 5K participants are also offered one beer from the beverage sponsor for those 21 and older. A non alcoholic beverage option is available for those not of age, and IDs are required to receive or purchase alcohol.
