45th Annual YMCA Hair of the Dog Run
The 45th Annual YMCA Hair of the Dog Run takes place on January 1, 2027 at the Thomas E. Hannah Family YMCA, 151 Ribault Street, Spartanburg, SC 29302, United States. The event includes multiple running distances with starting and finishing locations on Ribault Street.
Planned race distances:
- 10K (6.2 Mile)
- 5K (3.1 Mile)
- 1 Mile Dash
Registration opens October 1, 2026. Published entry fees are $30 for the 10K, $25 for the 5K, and $15 for the 1 Mile dash. A separate breakfast ticket for spectators and supporters is listed at $7. Breakfast is served inside the Thomas E. Hannah Family YMCA and is included for registered runners; breakfast tickets are valid only on January 1, 2027.
Leashed dogs are permitted to participate with runners. Timing for the 5K and 10K is provided by Upstate Race Series. The program brings together walkers, runners, and participants with dogs across the three distances and includes a post-race breakfast option for spectators and supporters.
