BTC Vulcan Run

The BTC Vulcan Run is scheduled for Saturday, November 7, 2026, in Homewood, Alabama. This event marks the 52nd edition of a race that began in November 1975 as the Bicentennial Run with 221 participants.

Two race distances are offered:

Vulcan Run 10K
Vulcan Run 5K

Registration includes a gender-neutral shirt designed for the event. To guarantee shirt receipt, registration must be completed by October 19, 2026. The standard registration price increases after August 31, 2026.

The event is hosted by the Birmingham Track Club (BTC). Current BTC members receive a discounted entry fee. This race is also part of the BTC Race Series, a bundle of four races hosted by the club. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
