The BTC Vulcan Run takes place in Homewood, AL on November 7, 2026. This is the 52nd edition of the race, which began as the Bicentennial Run in November 1975 with 221 runners. The event is hosted by the Birmingham Track Club.

Registration and extras
The race is part of the BTC Race Series, a four-race bundle offered for $130. Individual event entry fees listed on the page are $45 for the 10K and $25 for the 5K. Registration opens November 17, 2025. The entry price increases after December 31, 2025. The 10K is open to ages 6 and older. Registered participants receive a gender-neutral race shirt; registration by October 19 is required to guarantee a shirt.
