BTC Vulcan Run : Homewood, AL
The BTC Vulcan Run is an annual road race held in Homewood, Alabama. The 2026 edition is the 52nd running of the event, which began as the Bicentennial Run in November 1975 with 221 participants. The race is organized by the Birmingham Track Club and is part of the BTC Race Series.
The event offers multiple distances:
- Vulcan Run 10K
- Vulcan Run 5K
The Vulcan Run 10K is open to ages 6 and older. Participants receive a gender-neutral shirt created for the race; registration by October 19 guarantees receiving a shirt. Current members of the Birmingham Track Club are eligible for a discounted entry.
