Brundage Mountain Summit Cat Track 10K/5K
The event takes place at Brundage Mountain Resort in McCall, ID and offers two trail running options.

The 10K follows the Cat Track up to the summit, with runners ascending 3.1 miles and gaining 1,640" in elevation before turning around at the Bluebird chair lift aid station and returning along the same route for a total of 6.2 miles. Views from the summit include Payette Lake, the McCall area, and several nearby mountain ranges. In previous years a black bear crossed the mountain near the start.
The 5K starts at the summit after a chair lift ride and follows the Cat Track downhill for 3.1 miles, descending 1640". The format uses the same trail in opposite directions for the two events.
On race day there is packet pickup and runner check in at Brundage Mountain. Live music and outdoor plaza activities are planned and Smokey's Bar & Grill will be open for food and drinks. Race entry includes a logoed Brundage Mountain Cat Track item and a lift benefit for entrants, with 10K entries receiving a free lift ticket and 5K entries including the lift ride to the start. Registration closes on Thu, Jul 2.
The summit aid station at mile 3.1 for 10K runners will provide cups and gel packets. Volunteers will use a pitcher to fill bottles and will not handle personal water containers. Awards are presented to top finishers after the race. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
