Huckleberry Trot 5K Fun Run/Walk
The event is a community 5K run and walk held during the Huckleberry Festival, with the course starting at Donnelly Public Library and traveling out to Historic Roseberry before returning to the library. The distance is 5K (3.1 mile).
Registration is available in advance and same-day registration is offered. Registration packets will be distributed at the Donnelly Public Library on race day. Entry fees are stated as $30.00 for participants ages 13 and older, $20.00 for ages 5 to 13, and free for children under 5. The first 200 registrants receive a tee shirt and a goody bag. Awards are given to those who finish first in their age bracket. Raffle tickets are sold on the day of the event for a subsequent drawing. All proceeds from the race are presented to the Friends of Donnelly Library in memory of members of the local community.
