Payette Lake Run, McCall, Idaho
The Payette Lake Run is a multi-distance road and trail event organized by the Payette Lakes Ski Club in McCall, Idaho. All races start and finish at Brown Park in downtown McCall. Restrooms are provided on location. Results are posted within 48 hours after the races.
Three distances are offered:
- 30K full circuit around Payette Lake
- 14K beginning near North Beach on Payette Lake
- 5K starting near Little Lake on Lick Creek Road
Packet pickup is scheduled for Saturday, September 5, 2026, from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm at Gravity Sports, located at 200 Jacob St, McCall. Bus transportation is provided from Brown Park to the official start areas for the 14K and 5K; participants should be aware of the event bus schedule for their race. Aid stations are staffed by volunteers and local youth, with eight stations on the 30K, three on the 14K, and one on the 5K course.
An awards ceremony will be held around late morning with recognition for the top three male and top three female overall winners in each race. Age groups are 10 years and under, 11 to 18, 19 to 35, 36 to 49, and 50 years and over. Beer and refreshments will be available in the park after the races.
