Brooksvale 12-Hour
The Brooksvale 12-Hour is a timed running event in Hamden, Connecticut, held on June 27, 2026 at Brooksvale Park, 524 Brooksvale Avenue. The event uses a multi-loop course and offers options for participants to target different distances within the 12 hour time frame.
The course is a somewhat runnable loop of 4.25 mile length with about 500 feet of elevation gain per loop. The organizer frames common goals in terms of loop counts:
- 12 hour timed event using a 4.25 mile loop
- Six loops as an option described for a marathon distance
- Eight loops as an option described for a 50k
- Option to pursue 50 miles or farther within the time limit
An aid station is available every 4.25 miles on the loop. Registration closes on June 26 at 11:59 PM ET. Proceeds from the event will benefit the Brooksvale Gift Fund for trail maintenance, with another portion allocated to an additional charity to be determined.
