RBC Brooklyn Half Marathon : 2026 event overview
The RBC Brooklyn Half is a 13.1 mile road race through Brooklyn. The course starts near the Brooklyn Museum, passes the Brooklyn Botanic Garden and Grand Army Plaza, runs along Flatbush Avenue and Ocean Parkway, includes a loop in Prospect Park, and finishes on the Coney Island Boardwalk.
Race week features the RBC Brooklyn Half Expo Presented by New Balance at the LeFrak Center at Lakeside in Prospect Park. Race number pickup is available on Wednesday May 13, Thursday May 14, and Friday May 15; proxy pickup is allowed with the runner's QR code and ID. The Expo includes course strategy sessions, ASL interpretation, live open caption hours, a Runner Essentials area, and the RBC Hype Zone.
On course there are 10 fluid stations supplying Gatorade Endurance Formula and water. A Maurten Gel Depot is located near mile 6.8 with caffeinated and noncaffeinated gels; supply is limited. NYRR Pace Team pacers and course specific pace bands are available with target finish times ranging from 1:20 to 3:15. There are 10 medical stations: one at the start, seven on course, and two at the finish. Lactation accommodations and pump transport from start to finish are provided at designated locations.
