Bronx CB6 5K Run/Walk for Diabetes Awareness
The Bronx CB6 5K Run/Walk for Diabetes Awareness is an in-person community event on May 30, 2026 at Walter Gladwin Park in the Bronx, New York. The course meeting location is at the top of the hill opposite 535 East Tremont Avenue. The event is held rain or shine.
Registration includes a free 5K run and walk option and a donation-only option. Personalized bibs are available for participants who register three weeks in advance. Team registration is optional; participants may join or create a team though team participation may not carry awards.
On event day, bib pickup is managed by event staff; participants must know their bib number or use a self-lookup area. Amenities listed for the event include water, a bathroom at 1932 Arthur Avenue across from the park, live online and email or text results, and free finish line photos and video. Results and photos are provided online the same day.
The beneficiary for the event is the American Diabetes Association. Registration fees are non-refundable and non-transferable. Registrants agree to event terms that include a liability release and an affirmation of physical fitness to participate, and they grant permission for event organizers to use photographs and recordings from the event.
