2026 Bronx Bound: SIS 5K Run/Walk
The Bronx Bound: SIS 5K Run/Walk takes place at the Fordham University Rose Hill Campus in the Bronx. This event marks the 3rd annual occurrence and celebrates 30 years of tuition-free Catholic education provided by St. Ignatius School. The race proceeds support various school programs.
The course consists of three loops starting and finishing at the same location. Participants must pass through the finish line at the end of each loop to ensure accurate split times and final results. The event is held rain or shine and is open to students, alumni, faculty, and the broader community.
Participants can choose from the following registration options:
- 5K Run/Walk
- Virtual 5K (completed between May 2 and May 10)
All registrants receive a T-shirt and access to a post-race community breakfast held in the McShane Center. Runners who complete their registration at least three weeks before the event will receive a personalized bib with their name. The event provides live text and email results, along with free finish line photos. Awards are presented to the top three male and female finishers overall, as well as the top finishers in the 18 and under and 50 and up age categories. Attendees under 13 years of age may participate for free. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
