Bronx Bound: SIS 5K Run/Walk
Bronx Bound is a community 5K run and walk scheduled for May 2, 2026 at Fordham University, Rose Hill Campus in the Bronx. The course starts and finishes in the same location and is completed as three loops for a total of 5K; participants must cross the finish line at the end of each loop to ensure accurate times and split recording. The event is planned to proceed rain or shine. Registration is not yet open. Registered participants have access to a post-race community breakfast in Bepler Commons.
Event services include live online, text, and email results, free finish line photos and same-day finish line video, and personalized bibs for those who register at least three weeks in advance. On the day of the event, bib pickup takes place inside Bepler Commons on the ground level of Faber Hall beginning one hour before the event. Virtual participants will have their bib shipped if they provide a shipping address during registration. Awards are listed for top finishers including trophies for the top three overall and medals for top male and female, top male and female under 18, and top male and female over 50.
