Bronx Bound: SIS 5K Run/Walk
Registration is not yet open for this event. The race is scheduled for May 2, 2026 at Fordham University, Rose Hill Campus in the Bronx, New York. Registration includes access to a post-race community breakfast in Bepler Commons.
The event is a 5K run/walk with the start and finish in the same location. The course is three loops that together comprise the 5K; participants must cross the finish line for each loop to ensure accurate finish times and split times.
On-course amenities include live online, text, and email results, free finish line photos, and personalized bibs for those who register at least three weeks in advance. Virtual participants will receive a mailed bib if they provide a shipping address during registration.
Awards are given to the top finishers and include a trophy for the top three overall, and medals for the top male and female, the top male and female under 18, and the top male and female over 50.
The event supports the programs of St. Ignatius School. The event is planned to proceed rain or shine. Bib pickup is handled inside Bepler Commons at the ground level of Faber Hall; a self lookup area is available for participants who do not know their bib number.
