Event Overview

The British OCR Championship is the competitive highlight of the Nuclear Rush event. The championship is sanctioned and supported by British Obstacle Sports and is designed for elite and professional OCR athletes.

Race Details

The event uses a 12K+ course based on the Nuclear Rush route, with an additional route and obstacles specifically for the championship. The course features rugged terrain, water, mud, and mandatory technical obstacles. The event is timed with a chip timing system.

Participation

Competitors must be current members of British Obstacle Sports (BOS) at the time of the event. Participants must be 18 years of age or older. There are no qualification requirements for any category.

  • Competitive Para
  • Elite male and female
  • Male and female age groups (18-34, 35-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60+)
  • Competitive international male and female
  • Non-competitive male and female

What's Included

Participants can expect over 60 obstacles, chip timing, and a free finisher's photo. All finishing competitors receive a 2026 British Champs Medal. Trophy and prize money of £100 are awarded to the overall male and female winners. The event is a qualifier for the OCR European Championships and OCR World Championships.
