British OCR Championship
The British OCR Championship is a national obstacle course racing event held as part of the Nuclear Rush programme. The championship is supported by British Obstacle Sports and is aimed at elite and professional OCR athletes. The event uses the Nuclear Rush 12K course with an additional route and extra obstacles created specifically for the championship, delivering more than 60 obstacles across rugged terrain that includes water, mud and technical features.
The race is chip timed and open to competitors aged 18 and over. Waves include elite male and female, competitive para, competitive international, male and female age groups, and non-competitive waves; non-competitive waves start after the British Champs waves. All Rush course obstacles are mandatory; mandatory obstacles may be attempted multiple times but failure to complete will result in a penalty. Penalty obstacles must be completed on first attempt, with penalty details provided in the pre-race programme. Competitors must be current members of British Obstacle Sports at the time of the event. All finishing competitors receive a 2026 British Champs medal; overall male and female winners receive trophies and prize money of £100, and the event acts as a qualifier for OCR European Championships and OCR World Championships. Entry cost listed at £115 per person. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
