Nuclear Rush (Nuclear Races)
Nuclear Rush is an obstacle race held on the Secret Nuclear Bunker Estate in Brentwood, Essex. Courses run through muddy farmland, woodlands and lakes and include both natural and man made obstacles. Chip timing and finishers medals are provided.
The adult options include a shorter and a longer timed course, each with a high number of obstacles and a no penalty policy for skipping obstacles. Signature obstacles mentioned include the Deathslide and water zip lines, alongside other notable features such as a travelator and a multi lane zip wire into water.
Event facilities listed for participants include hot washdowns, changing facilities, buoyancy aids for water obstacles, a free car park, free finisher photos, a free bag drop and chip timing. The venue also provides an event village for spectators with music, food, drinks and merchandise.
Family and children waves offer shorter, supervised courses designed for younger participants with emphasis on fun and teamwork. Age rules and accompaniment requirements vary by wave and are specified for each course; some youth entries require a paying participating adult.
