Rush Weekend - Nuclear Races

Event Overview

Nuclear Rush is a muddy obstacle course race. It takes place at the Secret Nuclear Bunker Estate in Essex, near Brentwood.

Distances & Obstacles

Participants can choose from three adult race distances.

• Rush 6K: This course features over 40 obstacles, including the Deathslide and para-plunge zip lines. It takes approximately 2 hours to complete and is open to participants aged 13+.
• Rush 12K: This course offers over 70 obstacles and takes approximately 2 hours. It is open to participants aged 16+.
• Rush Oblivion Storm (38K+): This advanced event includes a lap of the Nuclear Fit Storm course followed by three laps of the 12K obstacle course. It takes approximately 8.5 hours and is for participants aged 18+.

Family and Rookie Races

There are also shorter courses designed for children and families.

• Rush Rookies (1.5K): A course for ages 4-14 with over 25 obstacles.
• Rush Rookies (3K): A longer course for ages 9-14 with over 50 obstacles.
• Rush Rookies Pro (3K): A competitive variant of the 3K Rookies course where all obstacles are mandatory.
• Rush Family (1.5K): A course for families with children aged 4+, featuring over 25 obstacles.
• Rush Family (4K): A longer family course for ages 10+, featuring over 35 obstacles, including the Deathslide.

Event Features

All races include chip timing and a finisher's medal. Buoyancy aids are available for water obstacles. Facilities include hot washdowns, changing rooms, a free bag drop, and free car parking.
