Join the Brightwater Sweetheart Run/Walk in Myrtle Beach on April 11, 2026. Choose from a 5k, a 1 mile, or a free continuous loop, all supporting the American Heart Association. Every finisher gets a medal, and there will be awards, refreshments, and entertainment.

Event Details

The Brightwater Sweetheart Run/Walk takes place on Saturday, April 11, 2026, at the Brightwater Senior Living Community in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. The event supports the American Heart Association.

Events

There are three events:

5k Run/Walk
1 Mile Run/Walk
Sweetheart Loop, a continuous 200-foot loop that is free to participate in.

Registration and Fees

Pre-registration fees are $30 for the 5k and $20 for the 1 Mile. Late registration is available at the Brightwater Clubhouse with an additional $5 fee.

Schedule and Logistics

Packet pickup is at the Brightwater Clubhouse on the Friday before the event and on race morning. Parking is available in designated areas to the left of the clubhouse. The start and finish for all events are on the campus of the Brightwater Senior Living Community.

Awards and Amenities

All participants in the 5k and 1 Mile events receive a participation medal. Awards are given for overall male and female finishers and top age group finishers in both races. An awards ceremony is held. Entertainment and refreshments are provided. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
