Brightwater Sweetheart 5k Run/Walk & 1 Mile Fun Run
The Brightwater Sweetheart event takes place on April 11, 2026, at Brightwater Senior Living Community, 101 Brightwater Drive, Myrtle Beach, SC 29579. The course and activities are held around the Brightwater campus and parking is available by entering the community through the front gate and using designated parking areas to the left of the Brightwater Clubhouse.

- 5k Run/Walk
- 1 Mile Run/Walk
- Sweetheart Loop (continuous - 200 ft loop, free)
Packet pickup is at the Brightwater Clubhouse on Friday, April 10, 2026, from 4:00 to 5:30 pm, and on race day with separate pickup windows for the one mile and the 5k. Race day late registration is available at the Brightwater Clubhouse with a $5 late sign up fee and follows the same pickup windows.
Participation medals will be awarded to all 5k and 1 miler finishers. Overall male and female awards and top male and female age group awards will be presented, with an awards ceremony scheduled for 10:00. The event supports the American Heart Association.
