Event Details
The 19th annual Race for the Inlet, also called the Bunny Run Edition, is a 5K fun run and walk. The event takes place on Saturday, April 4, 2026, starting and finishing at Morse Park Landing in Murrells Inlet, South Carolina.
Registration and Amenities
Registration includes a chipped timing bib and an official race t-shirt for those who register by March 16. The first 250 registered participants receive a swag bag. A complimentary grab-and-go breakfast is provided after the race at Morse Park.
Awards
An awards ceremony is held at Morse Park after the event. Awards are given to:
- The top three overall male and female finishers.
- The top three male and female finishers in each of the following age groups: 9 & under, 10-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70-79, and 80 & older.
Beneficiary
Proceeds from the race benefit Murrells Inlet 2020, a local organization focused on environmental conservation and community revitalization.
Additional Information
Packet pickup is available on Friday, April 3, at the Murrells Inlet 2020 office or on race morning at Morse Park. Parking is available at restaurants near the park, and carpooling is recommended.
