Brigantia Hogsheads Challenge

The Brigantia Hogsheads Challenge is a 6-hour timed running event held at York Sports Village on a flat 1km cycle circuit. Celebrating Celtic heritage, the event offers runners the freedom to complete as many laps as they wish within the 6-hour window, from a single lap to the full duration. All participants receive a bespoke medal featuring a new hog design for 2025 and a goody bag.

The race is chip-timed, suitable for all abilities aged nine and above, and capped at 80 entrants. The event promotes a friendly atmosphere with homemade cakes, a cupless hydration system, and a feed station offering water, squash, snacks, and sweets.
