Sutton 10k : Sutton-on-the-Forest
Sutton 10k is a chip timed rural 10 kilometre race that begins and ends on the village playing field in Sutton-on-the-Forest. The course is flat and multi-terrain, running on parkland tracks, surfaced and farm roads. The route passes through Sutton Park and forest, along quiet roads and over parts of a former airfield.
Event facilities at the start and finish area include toilets, refreshments and a tea tent run by the Brownies. Free off-road parking is available close to the start. Race numbers and timing chips are not posted in advance; they are issued on the day from Race HQ.
Entry information provided by the organiser notes online entries via Bookitzone, an entry limit of 400 runners, and a minimum age of 15 years. Published entry fees are £16 for attached runners and £18 for unattached runners (both figures include the Bookitzone booking fee). If the race limit allows, on-the-day entry is £20 for both attached and unattached entries. The event is to be run under UKA Rules and a race licence has been applied for.
