Bridgton’s 4 on the Fourth
Bridgton’s 4 on the Fourth is a road race held each summer in the heart of Maine’s lake region. The main event is a 4-mile road race that starts in town and follows a rolling course with a mix of hills, fields, and lake views, concluding with a fast fourth mile and a finish area near the start.
A Kids Fun Run is held the day before the main race on July 3. Bib pickup is available on July 2 and July 3 at white tents near the finish line on Depot Street, and also on race day, with a bib number required for pickup. Runners who register three weeks in advance are eligible for a personalized bib. Last-minute registrants within 24 hours may receive their bib number by text.
Amenities include an event shirt for the first 500 registered runners with limited sizing after late June, live and text and email results, free finish line photos, and on-site shirt sales at pickup if online ordering has closed.
Awards recognize overall finishers and age group placings. Overall prizes are monetary for top finishers and age group awards are presented across standard age divisions.
