Bridgton's 4 on the Fourth
Bridgton's 4 on the Fourth is a 4 mile road race held each summer in the heart of Maine's lake region. The course begins in town and runs through a rolling landscape of hills, fields, and lake views, finishing with a faster fourth mile and a finish area near the town center.
Event amenities listed for recent editions include a free official 2026 t-shirt for the first 500 registered runners (sizes not guaranteed after 6/25), in-person shirt sales at bib pickup after online orders close, live results by text and email, free finish line photos, and a personalized bib for those who register three weeks in advance.
Awarding includes cash prizes for the top five overall male and female finishers ($500, $400, $300, $200, $100), local gift certificates for the top three Bridgton finishers, and official coasters for the top three in each age group. Age groups include 8 & Under, 9-11, 12-15, 16-18, 19-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75-79, 80-84, and 85+. Camp awards list the top camps by fastest average time and top individual girls and boys.
