6 at the Springs - June 20, 2026
6 at the Springs is a timed six hour endurance event held in Poland, Maine, on a flat approximately four mile loop along the historically registered rail trail at Waterhouse Brook near Lower Range Pond. The course runs to a turnaround in Mechanic Falls, crosses a scenic waterway and returns along a wide, hard packed trail that passes multiple watersheds and a notable beaver pond.
Participants may cover any distance from a single four mile loop upward during the six hour clock. Mileage for each participant is recorded and recognized, and prizes are awarded. The event includes a youth entry option for children 12 and under. Paid entries include an event shirt; organizers note that the guaranteed shirt size period has ended and that a prior deadline for guaranteed sizes was May 16. Registration is scheduled to close on June 18 at 11:59 PM ET.
Organizers describe the course as useful for fast times and backyard ultra style training and note local businesses and sponsors will be present after the event. The venue is listed at 33 Poland Corner Road in Poland, ME, and the trail follows the Waterhouse Brook and Lower Range Pond area. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
