The TGA Consulting Bridges of the Tyne 5 Mile Road Race
The event takes place on 30 June 2026 on Newcastle Quayside, Great Britain. The main race is a mainly flat, fast out and back course along the quayside that passes seven of the river's bridges.

Entry for the 5 mile race is £24 plus online booking fee, with a £2 reduction for UKA members. The junior 1 mile entry is £12 plus online booking fee, with a £2 reduction for UKA members. Transfers are possible until 25 June 2026.
Race headquarters and registration for the main race are at The Tyne Bar on Maling Street, about 800 metres from the start; a baggage area is provided. The junior race has its registration at Malmo Quay. Prizes are awarded to the first three male and female finishers in each junior race and all junior entrants receive a commemorative medal.
Minimum ages: 15 on race day for the 5 mile event; 10 to 14 on race day for the 1 mile junior event (15 year olds may enter the 5 mile race). Recorded course times are 24:46 for the male course record (2013) and 27:49 for the female course record (2014). Entrants agree to be bound by the UKA Anti-Doping Rules.
