Brick House Multi-Sport Festival Triathlon
The Brick House Multi-Sport Festival is a two day off road event at Magnolia Hill Ranch Lake near Navasota, Texas on October 17–18, 2026. The program combines an adventure race (Saturday) with multiple Sunday events: triathlon formats, duathlon, aquabike, relays and kids triathlons.
The Adventure Race is a team event with 2–3 members per team; solo entries are permitted by prior arrangement. Teams navigate marked checkpoints across the property, choosing their own routes. Typical components and approximate distances: running/trekking, mountain biking, paddling, plus 2–3 special challenge tasks that may take five to fifteen minutes each. Required team gear includes a pen, waterproof phone, and first aid kit. Required personal gear includes food and water, bike and helmet, paddle and PFD, and a backpack or hydration system. Boat rental is available and includes paddle and PFD.
Sunday’s off road triathlon and related races use the lake for swims and jeep trails for bike and run sections. Swim starts are from a beach and the lake swim courses remain close to shore. Bike courses favor gravel, CX, hybrid or mountain bikes on mostly jeep roads with short single track sections. The kids races are off road with shallow lake swims and short bike and run laps for ages grouped by distance. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
