Brick House Multi-Sport Festival Triathlon
The festival takes place at 18135 FM 362 in Navasota, Texas and runs across two days. One day is devoted to an adventure race; the other day includes multiple short-course races such as sprint triathlon, sprint duathlon, aquabike, a triathlon relay, and kids triathlons.
Swims occur in a lake with beach starts for the adult sprint distances and a shallow, shore-parallel swim for the kids courses. Bicycle sections use mostly jeep roads, dirt, gravel, and sand trails suitable for mountain, gravel, CX, or hybrid bikes. Runs follow dirt roads and trails and include several notable hills on some courses.
The adventure race is a team event with teams of two to three members; solo entries are allowed with prior arrangement. Teams navigate property trails to reach checkpoints and complete short special challenges. Boat rental is available or teams may bring their own kayak or canoe. Required gear lists are specified for teams and individuals.
