Bret Harte's Run Turkey Run 2026
Bret Harte Athletics and Booster Club presents the 2026 Run Turkey Run on November 26, 2026, in the Almaden Valley neighborhood of San Jose. The event starts and finishes at Leland High School, 6677 Camden Avenue, and offers community running and walking options over measured courses.
Course terrain is described as level and follows Camden Avenue and paved trails along Los Alamitos Creek and the adjacent open space area.

Online registration opens September 16, 2026 and online registration closes November 1, 2026. A free commemorative 2026 Run Turkey Run shirt is provided to participants who register by November 7, 2026. Registration and packet pick-up are also available before the event and on race morning if the event is not sold out.
Pre-race packet pick-up is held at Bret Harte Middle School, 7050 Bret Harte Drive. Race morning packet pick-up is at Leland High School. A limited supply of shirts will be available for purchase at packet pick-up and on race day.
Parking is available at Leland High School and along Via Valiente. All Camden Avenue entrances will be closed due to a road closure; use the Via Valiente entrance to access the Leland parking lot. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
