Quarry Turkey Half Marathon
The Quarry Turkey event on November 28, 2026 takes place at Quarry Lakes Regional Park in Fremont. It offers a set of trail races on a course described as fast and mostly flat, with options for runners, walkers and children.

- 5K
- Little Turkeys race : about 100 yards, free for children brought with race participants
Thanksgiving-themed costumes for children and adults are encouraged. Walkers are welcome. Free photos and official race results are provided for participants.
The event supports the Alameda County Community Food Bank. Organizers encourage every child to bring at least one canned good on race morning; cash donations are accepted at registration and bins are available on race day. Sponsors contribute to keeping entry costs lower.
