BreatheFL 5K Run/Walk Turkey Trot
The BreatheFL 5K Run/Walk Turkey Trot is scheduled for November 14–15, 2026, at Ferry Park in Fort Walton Beach, Florida (240 Hughes Street NE, Fort Walton Beach, FL 32548, United States). The event centers on a 5K outdoor course that begins and ends at Ferry Park and has no course time limit.
There are two water and aid stations on the course, one approximately halfway and another at the finish. The event lists a registration fee of $25 and states that registration fees are non-refundable. Participants who register by November 1 are guaranteed a commemorative race shirt and participation medal; registrations after that date may receive shirts on a first-come, first-served basis.
Proceeds support BreatheFL Inc., a nonprofit that provides resources, assistance, programs, and community support to families of children living with chronic respiratory illnesses. The event includes awards for competitive finishers: an overall winner trophy and grand prize, top three male and female trophies in the adult division (ages 18+), and top three overall trophies in two youth divisions (ages 13–17 and ages 12 and under).
