BreatheFL 5K Run/Walk Turkey Trot
The BreatheFL 5K Run/Walk Turkey Trot is scheduled for November 14–15, 2026 at Ferry Park, 240 Hughes Street NE, Fort Walton Beach, FL 32548. The event features an outdoor 5K course that begins and ends at Ferry Park and has no time limit.
The event supports BreatheFL Inc., a nonprofit that assists families of children living with chronic respiratory illnesses. Funds raised help provide resources, assistance, programs, and community support for those families.
There are two water and aid stations on course, one located approximately halfway and one at the finish. Participants who register by November 1 are guaranteed a commemorative race shirt and a participation medal; shirts for later registrations are distributed while supplies last. Registration fees are non-refundable.
Awards include an overall winner trophy and grand prize, trophies for the top three male and female finishers in the adult division (ages 18+), and top three overall trophies in the youth divisions (ages 13–17 and 12 and under).
A post-race celebration at Ferry Park will include music, food, vendors, an awards ceremony, and a kids zone. The event is organized by Run With It, Inc and is held rain or shine. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
