Event Overview
The Breast Cancer Alliance 5K for Hope is a fundraising run/walk event scheduled for early May in Greenwich, Connecticut. All proceeds from the event support grants for breast cancer screening and support services, specifically to help underserved and uninsured patients access diagnostic care.
Event Details
The event offers both a standard 5K and a virtual participation option. The main event takes place at Richards Parking Lot at 359 Greenwich Avenue.
Participants have the option to pick up race bibs and event t-shirts in advance on the Thursday and Friday before the race at the BCA office on Maple Avenue. A complimentary breakfast is provided for participants on race day. The first 300 people to check in receive a free t-shirt. The event is held outdoors and takes place rain or shine.
Teams can be formed, and a deadline for team names to appear on printed materials is noted.
Registration
Registration fees are structured as follows:
- $50 for adult in-person 5K entry.
- $25 for student in-person 5K entry.
- Free entry for children under 7.
- $25 for virtual runners.
Beneficiary
