The Inflatable Mile
The Inflatable Mile is a unique running event located in Van Cortlandt Park in Bronx, New York. The race takes place on a specific course at 6087 Broadway. Participants complete a distance of 1 mile while wearing an inflatable costume.
There are specific requirements for the attire used during the event. The costume must cover the participant's entire body, with only the head, hands, and feet allowed to protrude. Please note that the organizers do not provide these costumes; runners must bring their own inflatable outfits to participate.
The event follows a completely flat course, making it accessible for a variety of participants. This run is scheduled to take place during the VCP50K ultramarathon. All proceeds from the event are donated to charity.
