The 34th Annual Brea 8K Classic takes place on February 28, 2027 at Brea Mall, 1065 Brea Mall, Brea, CA 92821. The event includes multiple participation options:

The course is USATF certified and passes through rolling hills and residential neighborhoods in Brea. The race is chip timed and official results are posted online, typically within 24 hours. Water stations are located at mile 2 and mile 4. Medical stations are positioned at the start and finish and along the course; sweep vehicles are available for participants who cannot finish.
Awards include overall top placings for men and women, age-division awards across a wide range of age groups, a wheelchair division, and team awards. Teams have specific entry rules, including minimum team size and gender composition requirements for most divisions.
Race-day logistics note free parking in designated southern mall lots and some partial street closures in the morning on nearby roads. Packet pickup is available at a local running shop before the event and at a mall parking area on race day. Strollers are permitted on course; non-service dogs are not allowed due to insurance restrictions. After the race, food, drinks, and entertainment are provided by local vendors.
