Memorial Heroes For The Homeless 5K : Lexington, KY

A memorial 5K event in Lexington that raises funds for the New Life Day Center. The event takes place at Coldstream Park/Legacy Trail, 1850 Pisacano Drive, Lexington, KY on April 17, 2027.

The headline event is a chip-timed 5K (3.1 miles) on paved trail surfaces. The program also includes a 1-mile fun walk, a 400-yard kids' dash for children 9 and under, and a virtual 5K option. Awards are given to the Top 3 male and female overall finishers and the Top 3 male and female finishers in five-year age divisions. Walkers, strollers and dogs on a fixed-length leash are permitted on the course.

Additional event features include commemorative unisex race T-shirts (sizes S–3XL), social team participation with a prize for the largest team, music and on-site food. Packet pickup is scheduled for the day before the event at Drake's Restaurant on Leestown Road. Volunteers are requested to support race operations and receive a commemorative race shirt.
