Brandon True Memorial Heroes For The Homeless 5K Presented by Anderson Communities
This is the third annual memorial 5K held in Lexington at Coldstream Park / Legacy Trail. The event raises funds for the New Life Day Center, a daytime shelter and connecting point that provides basic needs, referrals to local resources, and community support for people experiencing homelessness.
The course is described as a flat, fast route on paved trail surfaces along the Legacy Trail. Race features listed include commemorative unisex race T-shirts (sizes S–3XL), awards for the top three male and female overall finishers and top three in five year age groups, free race photos, social teams with a prize for the largest team, music, food, and on-site fellowship.
