6th Annual Brandeis 5K
The Brandeis 5K Run/Walk is a community event held in Lawrence, New York. The event is organized by the Brandeis Hebrew Academy in collaboration with the Nice Jewish Runners of the 5Towns. The event serves as a gathering for the local community to walk or run in support of Israel and the Jewish nation. The course starts and finishes at the Brandeis Hebrew Academy located on Frost Lane.
The event features a single distance:

Participants have the option to register individually or form teams with friends and family. Registration includes a race bib, which can be personalized with the participant's name if registered at least three weeks before the event day. T-shirts are provided to participants while supplies last.
The event utilizes electronic tracking to provide live online results via email or text. Finishers can access video and finish-line photographs on the same day. Following the completion of the course, an award ceremony is held to recognize top performers. Awards are presented to the top three overall male and female finishers, as well as the top two male and female finishers in several age categories spanning from age 15 to over 60.
