Brandeis 5K Run/Walk
The Brandeis 5K Run/Walk is staged at Brandeis Hebrew Academy in Lawrence, New York. The event features a 5K run/walk, a post-race award ceremony, and race-day amenities. A previous edition took place on May 17, 2026; the event is listed for 2027 and registration is not yet open.
T-shirts are available while supplies last. Awards include the top three overall male and female finishers and the top two male and female finishers in the following age groups: 15 to 19, 20 to 30, 31 to 40, 41 to 50, 51 to 60, and 61 and over.
Bibs are available for pickup beginning one hour before the event start time. Participants who do not know their bib number can use a self-lookup area. Registrations completed close to pickup may receive bib numbers via text shortly after registration.
The beneficiary is Brandeis Hebrew Academy, which has provided education in the community for about 90 years; race proceeds are intended to support fundraising efforts to enhance the academy's future programs.
