Braemar 2026 Annual 5K Turkey Trot
The Braemar 2026 Annual 5K Turkey Trot is a community 5K run/walk (5K / 3.1 miles) taking place in Bristow, Virginia, at 12300 Iona Sound Drive on 11/26/2026. The event is organized as a single 5K run/walk.
Registration opens 10/1/2026. Fees listed for the event are $25.00 for ages 13 and up and $15.00 for ages 12 and under. Braemar residents receive a special allocation: the first 100 resident entries are free and include a race shirt and medal for ages 5 and up; residency is verified at checkout and requires an ID card. A $2.50 processing fee is added for credit card purchases. The shirt registration deadline is 11/06/2026. Registration closes on 11/19/2026 or when supplies are gone.
Race packet pickup is arranged at 12300 Iona Sound Drive on the noted Sunday and Monday prior to the event; there is no race day packet pickup. A course map is provided for the route.
The event benefits The Sweet Julia Grace Foundation, a Bristow-based 501(c)(3) founded in 2014. The foundation supports medically fragile children and families by granting wishes, filling gaps in other services, and providing day-to-day assistance and comfort.
