2026 Bunnyman Turkey Trot 5k & 10k
The event takes place on November 21 at the Workhouse Arts Center in Lorton, Virginia. It offers two road race distances:
- 5 km
- 10 km
The course is paved with limited hills. The 5 km is an out-and-back route run once; the 10 km consists of two laps of the 5 km course. Water stations are placed along the courses: eight stations on the 10 km at approximately mile markers 0.5, 1.25, 1.85, 2.6, 3.6, 4.35, 4.95 and 5.7, and four stations on the 5 km at approximately mile markers 0.5, 1.25, 1.85 and 2.6. Gatorade will be available at some water stations. Restrooms are located near the Visitor Center.
Registered runners receive one glass of beer or wine from Bunnyman Brewing, a finisher medal, a technical (Drifit) event shirt, and chip timing; a drink ticket is included with registration. T-shirts are guaranteed for registrations before November 16; extra shirts will be ordered for later registrants on a first-come, first-served basis. Registration fees listed in the event information differ by distance and by date, and increase on race morning.
Live results are posted on Athlinks and via a QR code at the race, with final results and series points published the Monday after the event. Runner tracking via SMS is available during registration. Awards include top three men and women overall and first and second place male and female in standard age groups. Points from the event count toward the Year-Long 5k, 10k and Back of the Pack Series, and the Sippin Series. A virtual run option is available. The event supports The h3 Project, a 501(c)(3) street outreach organization focused on ending homelessness and human trafficking and on community training programs.
