2026 Bunnyman Turkey Trot 5k and 10k
The event is a timed running event held on November 21 at the Workhouse Arts Center in Lorton, Virginia. It offers two measured distances with a paved course that includes limited hills. The 5 km follows an out-and-back route once; the 10 km consists of two laps of the 5 km course.
Runners receive one glass of beer or wine from Bunnyman Brewing, a finisher medal, a technical event shirt, and chip timing. A virtual race option is available for participants who cannot attend in person. Live results will be posted on Athlinks and final results with series points will be posted on the organizer's website the Monday following the race. Runner tracking via SMS is available at registration.
Water stations are placed along the courses: eight stations on the 10 km at approximate mile markers 0.5, 1.25, 1.85, 2.6, 3.6, 4.35, 4.95 and 5.7, and four stations on the 5 km at approximate mile markers 0.5, 1.25, 1.85 and 2.6. Gatorade will be available at some water stations. Restrooms are located near the Visitor Center. Packet pickup is available at the event; shirt sizes are guaranteed only for runners registered before the stated cutoff.
The event supports The h3 Project, a street outreach nonprofit focused on homelessness and human trafficking with outreach work based at Union Station and activity across the DCMV area.
