Course and logistics
The course is a two-lap route through vineyard and orchard areas. It is a cross-country style course with some uneven footing and is described as suitable for both runners and walkers. Packet pickup is scheduled on Friday, April 18 at the Warhorse Airplane Hanger (635 Lerch Rd, Geneva, NY); race day pickup is also available. Free finisher photos will be uploaded to the race page after the event.
Registration, awards and options
Registration includes a T-shirt (ring spun cotton), a shatterproof collapsible cider glass, a finisher medal, a chip-timed bib, a homemade cider donut, a pour of cider, and online results. Minors receive a discounted registration that includes a shirt, medal and bib but not the glass or cider pour. The event offers age group awards for the top three male and female finishers in each category (1-9, 10-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70-79, 80+). Competitive runners must start with the first group to be eligible for age group awards. A virtual participation option is available; packets can be picked up or shipped for a fee.
