Logistics and rules

An electronic wristband (HuTag on velcro) records lap starts and finishes and provides a final lap count. Runners should not cover the tag and must avoid congregating at the start line to prevent false readings. Finishers must check out with the timing partner to finalise results and then collect their finisher prize at Basecamp.

Basecamp includes two 6 x 3 meter gazebos, an indoor hall for kit storage, and onsite catering by Rock UK. Spectators are welcome. Parking is marshalled and charged at £5 per day or £15 per night for campervans, with overnight access to water and toilet facilities.

Mandatory kit includes sufficient nutrition and hydration (minimum 500 ml fluid per hour and 60-90 g carbohydrates per hour of running), appropriate clothing, dry end-of-event clothes, a mobile phone, and a headtorch.

Entry places: 200 available. Entry fee listed at £44.95 (price valid until 02 Sep 2026); a service fee applies. Refund and transfer windows apply. Volunteers are offered a free future entry as a reward. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
