Bootlegger 5K
Bootlegger 5K takes place at McCracken Curve Distillery, 5757 E. Old US Hwy 50, Montgomery, IN. The course is an out-and-back 5K routed through the countryside of Daviess County.
Roads remain open to traffic for the duration of the event. Participants are required to follow rules of the road and be mindful of vehicles and other road users.
Entry costs $35 and includes a short sleeve soft cotton T-shirt and a finisher medal; there is a $5 deduction for the medal-only option. All sales are final and no refunds are issued unless prior arrangements are made. Unless prior arrangements are made, shirts and medals will not be saved for pickup after the event.
Registration opens May 7, 2026 and closes September 5, 2026. There is no early packet pickup for this event; check-in and late registration are available on race day.
Awards are given to the top three males and the top three females in the event. The 5K is presented as a fun run with no official timing. The event is scheduled to run rain or shine; in the case of severe weather it will be delayed until conditions improve. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
