Bootlegger 5K
The Bootlegger 5K takes place on September 5, 2026, at McCracken Curve Distillery in Montgomery, Indiana (5667 E. Old US Hwy 50). The event is a single 5K out and back course that runs through the countryside of Daviess County.
Roads remain open to traffic and rules of the road will be used. Participants are expected to be aware of and follow traffic laws while running or walking the course.
Registration carries a fee of $35 and includes a short sleeve soft cotton t shirt and a finisher medal. There is a $5 deduction for the medal only option. All sales are final and no refunds will be issued unless prior arrangements are made. Unless prior arrangements are made, medals and shirts will not be saved for pick up after the event.
There is no early packet pickup; check in and late registration are handled on race day. Results are not officially timed as this is designated a fun run. The event proceeds rain or shine; in the event of severe weather the race may be delayed until conditions improve. Awards are given to the top three males and the top three females.
