Wettlauf 5K, Jasper, Indiana
Wettlauf comprises two 5K events: a timed 5K run and a walk only 5K without official timing. Registration opens on 29 April 2026 and closes on 24 July 2026. The registration fee is $20.00. Preregistrations can be mailed to St. John Bosco Youth Ministry, PO Box 908, Jasper, IN 47547.
Preregistered participants may pick up bibs and T shirts at designated early packet pickup locations in downtown Jasper; packets are also available on race day at the start area. Early pickup has been listed at Downtown Running, 605 Main St., Jasper.
Refreshments including fruit and water will be provided to participants at the finish. Race timing for the 5K run is provided by To The Finish Timing.
Awards are presented to the first three places in each male and female division for the 5K run and to the overall male and female winners. Participants receive a Strassenfest Wettlauf t shirt as part of registration while supplies last. T shirt sizes are limited and requests are honored on a supplies available basis. Awards and shirts are provided courtesy of Deaconess Hospital.
The course uses rolling, paved city streets. The route is marked and policed, includes mile splits and ample water stations. Dogs are not permitted in this event.
