Hammer DOWNtown 5K/1 Mile

Registration opens March 10, 2026 and closes May 29, 2026. Fees listed for pre registration and late or day of registration vary by entry: a single race fee and a combined entry option for both races are provided. Race t shirts are guaranteed to registrants who pre register by May 16 and are available on race day while supplies last.
Chip timing is used for the event. The 1 mile has a 20 minute time limit for walkers to allow preparation of the 5K course. Awards are given overall to male and female finishers and by age group. Age group awards include top three finishers male and female for ages 1 to 10, 11 to 15, and 16 to 19, and top age group finisher male and female for ages 20 to 29, 30 to 39, 40 to 49, 50 to 59, 60 to 69, and 70 to 99.
