23rd Annual Boo Run
The event takes place on October 31, 2026, at 6300 University Parkway, Sarasota, FL 34240, United States. It features two race options and supports the Big Bill Foundation and Another Day for Gray.
The program includes these distances:
- 5K
- 500 yards (Kids Boo Dash, 12 and under)
The 5K is chip timed and entry includes a bib, a glow in the dark finisher medal, and a race shirt. Overall male and female awards and age group awards are provided to winners. Runners in the 5K must be 5 years of age or older; any child 4 or under must remain in a stroller if accompanying a parent or guardian during the 5K. A post race party offers complimentary food and beverages for race participants, and there is a costume contest.
The Kids Boo Dash is a 500 yard sprint bracketed by age groups: 3y-4y, 5y-6y, 7y-9y, and 10y-12y. Children in the Kids Dash receive a finisher medal, shirt, and bib. Children registered for the 5K may also take part in the Kids Boo Dash.
Registration details and fees:
- 5K fee: $40.00; registration opens July 31, 2026 and closes August 28, 2026.
- Kids Boo Dash fee: $20.00; registration opens July 31, 2026 and closes October 30, 2026.
Shirt sizes are distributed first come, first serve. After a size is sold out registrants may select remaining sizes or choose the no shirt option; no discount is provided for the no shirt option and such selections are treated as donations to the listed charities.
