23rd Annual Boo Run
The event takes place on October 31, 2026 at 6300 University Parkway, Sarasota, Florida. It is the 23rd edition of the Boo Run and benefits Another Day for Gray and the Big Bill Foundation. The course is presented as family friendly and participants may wear costumes; a costume contest is part of the event.
Two race options are offered:
- 5K
- 500 yards Kids Boo Dash for 12 and under
Race entry details for the 5K include chip timing, a race bib, a glow-in-the-dark finisher medal, and a race shirt. Overall male and female awards and age group awards are available to age group winners. A post-race party will be held with complimentary food and beverages for race participants.
Age and registration notes: 5K runners must be five years of age or older; any child four years or younger must remain in a stroller if accompanying a parent or guardian during the 5K. The Kids Boo Dash is bracketed by age groups (3–4, 5–6, 7–9, 10–12); kids receive a finisher medal, shirt, and bib. Kids registered for the 5K may also participate in the Kids Dash.
Registration fees and windows are listed for each race. Shirt sizes are distributed first come first serve; after sizes sell out participants may choose remaining sizes or a no shirt option, which will be treated as a donation to the named charities.
