Packet pickup will take place inside the East Library & Recreation Center Hall on race day. Primary parking is available at the East Library and Recreation Center main lot at 1817 New York Avenue, Arlington, TX 76010. Strollers are permitted on the paved concrete trails of Bob Cooke Park. Leashed, well-behaved dogs are allowed outdoors on the course; only service animals are permitted inside the Recreation Center for indoor activities.
The event operates rain or shine. An indoor gymnasium is reserved for pre-event activities, a vendor market, and post-event awards in case of cold or wet weather. In the event of severe weather, organizers will provide updates before race day.
All registrations are non-refundable because the event benefits families battling childhood cancer. Volunteer roles include water station support, course marshalling, and assistance with the "Stuff the Vehicle" drive. Donation guidelines request NEW, UNWRAPPED items only; priority items include socks, family board games, headphones, tablets, and craft kits, with no stuffed animals or used items.
On-site activities and offerings include a community resource fair, music, a bounce house, yoga on the lawn, hourly door prizes, a best dressed gold contest, and limited promotional coupons and finisher souvenirs.
