Bold for Gold Tour 3K - Arlington
The Bold for Gold Tour 3K is a community charity walk/run on December 5, 2026 in Arlington, Texas. The event is organized by the Jacob Way Organization and is based at Bob Cooke Park with event facilities at the East Library & Recreation Center, 1817 New York Avenue, Arlington, TX 76010.

- Gold Hero (Adult) - 3K (1.86 miles), $35
- Junior Hero (Youth 12 and under) - 3K (1.86 miles), $15
- Virtual Hero (Sleep in for the Cause) - virtual category, $45
Packet pickup and indoor activities are held inside the East Library & Recreation Center Hall and the indoor gymnasium is reserved for warm-up, a vendor market, and post-event awards. Primary parking is available at the East Library and Recreation Center main lot. The 3K course takes place on the paved concrete trails of Bob Cooke Park; strollers and wagons are permitted on the course. Leashed, well-behaved dogs are welcome outdoors; only service animals are permitted inside the recreation center.
The event proceeds rain or shine; severe weather updates will be communicated by email and on social media by 6:00 AM on race day. Registrations are non-refundable because the event benefits families battling childhood cancer. Volunteer roles include water station support, course marshalling, and assistance with a donation drive called Stuff the Vehicle.
