Bold for Gold Tour 3K, Arlington
The Bold for Gold Tour 3K in Arlington is presented by the Jacob Way Organization as a community charity event to raise awareness and support families affected by childhood cancer. The event uses paved concrete trails at Bob Cooke Park and includes an indoor component at the East Library & Recreation Center.

Packet pickup, a vendor market, pre-event warm-up, and post-event awards are scheduled inside the East Library & Recreation Center. Primary parking is available at the center main lot at 1817 New York Avenue. The program features a community resource fair, music and entertainment, family activities, yoga on the lawn, a pre-walk sign-making station, hourly door prize drawings, and a Best Dressed Gold contest.
Strollers are permitted on the course. Leashed, well-behaved dogs are allowed outdoors on the walk/run; only service animals are permitted inside the recreation center. The event proceeds rain or shine; in severe weather, organizers will post updates via email and social media. Registrations are non-refundable as the event benefits families battling childhood cancer.
Volunteer roles include Water Station, Course Marshalling, and support for the "Stuff the Vehicle" drive.
