The Boerne Family YMCA Annual Turkey Trot takes place on Saturday, November 22, 2025, at Boerne Main Plaza in Boerne, TX 78006. The event offers the following distances:
- 5K
- 10K
- 1 Mile Trail Walk
The 5K and 10K are timed runs and overall winners are awarded 1st through 3rd place. A finisher medal is provided to all race participants and to 1 mile trail walk participants. A virtual race option is available to be completed at another time and location. Registrations completed by October 27 are guaranteed a t-shirt and medal. In 2022 more than 1,100 people registered.
Course and layout
The run starts on the west side of the Main Plaza in Boerne and proceeds through small, quiet neighborhoods. The 5K and 10K use the same course; 10K participants complete the course twice. The 1 mile trail walk follows a route along the Cibolo Creek. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
