Heatwave Half Marathon - Springfield
The Heatwave Half Marathon - Springfield takes place on July 19, 2026 in Willard, Missouri. The event is centered on the Frisco Highline Trail with the starting location at Willard High School, 515 E Jackson St.
Distances and formats offered include:
- Kids Dash (50 m): untimed, for ages 10 and under.
- 1 Mile: untimed.
- 5K: chip-timed; youth pricing for ages 12 and under.
- 10K: chip-timed; youth pricing for ages 12 and under.
- Half Marathon (13.1 Miles): chip-timed.
- Half-Marathon Relay (13.1 Miles): teams of any number; medal for each member.
- Running Buddy Half Marathon (13.1 Miles): requires prior approval as a Running Buddy.
- Volunteer Then Run: volunteer before packet pickup then run any chosen distance.
- Virtual Race: run anywhere; packet mailed with shirt and medal.
Many in-person registrations include a custom bib, a designer shirt, and a finisher medal. Chip-timing with live results and awards is provided for the 5K, 10K, half marathon, and relay. Free photos are available and free ice cream is provided at the finish. Youth pricing is available for ages 12 and under for select distances at $17.
Virtual participants receive a digital bib, event shirt, finisher medal, and packet shipping. Packets for mailed entries ship the Wednesday after the event, and participants can upload times and photos starting on the race day. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
