Heatwave Half Marathon - Springfield
This event takes place on July 19, 2026 in Willard, Missouri at the Frisco Highline Trail, starting at Willard High School, 515 E Jackson St. Multiple distances and formats are offered, including an in-person and a virtual option.
Distances and formats:
- Kids Dash : 50 meters for ages 10 and under
- 1 Mile untimed event
- 5K race with chip timing
- 10K race with chip timing
- Half Marathon 13.1 Miles
- Half Marathon Relay 13.1 Miles per team
- Running Buddy Half Marathon with prior approval required
- Volunteer Then Run option, volunteer then run any distance
- Virtual Race option for any location and day
Registration items vary by event but commonly include a custom bib, a designer shirt, and a finisher medal. Chip timing with live results and awards is provided for the 5K, 10K, half marathon and relay events. Free photos are available and finishers receive free ice cream at the finish. The virtual entry includes a digital bib, mailed packet with shirt and medal, and the ability to upload times and photos beginning the day of the event. Youth pricing applies for some distances; ages 12 and under are listed at $17. To guarantee a shirt, register by midnight on Thursday two Thursdays before race day.
