Heatwave Half Marathon - Springfield, Willard, MO
This event on July 19, 2026 takes place at the Frisco Highline Trail starting at Willard High School, 515 E Jackson St, Willard, Missouri. Multiple race formats run on the same day and some offer both in-person and virtual participation.
Distances and formats included:
- Half Marathon: 13.1 Miles
- Half Marathon Relay: 13.1 Miles; teams may include any number of participants
- 10K
- 5K
- 1 Mile (untimed)
- Kids Dash: 50 meters, untimed, for ages 10 and under
- Volunteer Then Run: volunteer shift then run any distance of choice
- Virtual Race: run any day at any location
Registration items and services vary by event. Most distance events include a custom bib, designer shirt, and finisher medal. The 1 Mile and Kids Dash are untimed; the Kids Dash includes a youth-sized shirt and a specially crafted medal. Chip timing with live results and awards is provided for the 5K, 10K, Half Marathon, Half Marathon Relay, and Volunteer Then Run. Youth pricing for the 5K and 10K is available for ages 12 and under at $17. Virtual participants receive a digital bib, shirt, finisher medal, and mailed packet that ships the Wednesday after the race; virtual results and photo uploads are supported.
