Space Wizards 5k & 10k - Springfield, MO
The Space Wizards 5k & 10k takes place on August 14, 2026, at 1362 S Campbell Ave, Springfield, Missouri 65807, United States. This is the third annual edition of the event.
Distances and event formats:
- 3.1 miles - Adult 5k and Kids 5k (10 and under)
- 6.2 miles - Adult 10k
There is also a Virtual Run/Walk option.
Registration details vary by entry type. In-person race registration opens April 14, 2026 and closes June 15, 2026. Fees listed for in-person entries are $45 for the adult 5k, $40 for the kids 5k, and $55 for the adult 10k. Virtual registration opens May 15, 2026 and closes August 11, 2026, with a fee of $50.
All registered participants receive a rechargeable LazerSword with adjustable sound settings and modes, plus a custom event medal. The Lazerswords change colors between red, green, yellow, blue, purple, light blue, and white, and are described in the event information as dueling quality.
