Spooky Sprint Polk City

Spooky Sprint is a Halloween themed running event held at Big Creek State Park in Polk City, Iowa on 10/10/2026. The event offers multiple race options, race-day amenities, and event swag distributed to many participants.

Chip-timing with live results and awards is provided for timed events. Event services include free photos and finish-line treats. Several race entries include a designer shirt, a custom bib, and a finisher medal; the kids dash entry includes a mini bib, a youth-sized shirt, and a medal. The virtual race option allows participants to run remotely and still receive event swag. The volunteer then run option pairs a volunteer shift with the opportunity to run a chosen distance; volunteers are asked to arrive 30 minutes before packet pickup.
