Spooky Sprint - Des Moines
Spooky Sprint is a Halloween-themed running event held at Big Creek State Park in Polk City, IA. The event program includes timed road races with chip timing and live results, awards, free photos, and food available at the finish area. Several race formats and entry options are offered, including an untimed kids dash and a virtual race.

Race registrations include event swag. The Half Marathon, 10k, 5k, and 1 Mile registrations include a custom bib, designer shirt, and finisher medal. The Kids Dash registration includes a mini bib, youth-sized shirt, and a medal specific to the kids dash; children may run the kids dash on race day without swag for no fee. The Virtual Race also provides event swag. Youth pricing for 5k and 10k entries is listed as 12 and under $17. The Volunteer then Run option asks volunteers to arrive 30 minutes before packet pickup to assist and then participate in a run of their choice.
