Heatwave Half Marathon, 10K and 5K in Milwaukee
The event takes place in Milwaukee, WI on July 31, 2027 and includes a range of in-person and virtual race options.
Distances and formats offered include:
- Half Marathon, 13.1 Miles
- 10K

- 1 Mile, untimed
- Kids Dash, 50 m, untimed, for ages 10 and under
- Virtual Race, run anytime at any location
- Volunteer Then Run, volunteers arrive 30 minutes before packet pickup and then may run any distance
- Running Buddy Half Marathon, participation requires prior approval
Race registrations for the Half Marathon, 10K and 5K include a custom bib, a designer shirt and a finisher medal. The 1 Mile and Kids Dash are untimed and include participant bibs and shirts; the Kids Dash shirt is youth sized and the dash has a specially crafted medal. Chip timing with live results and awards is provided for the 5K, 10K and Half Marathon. Youth pricing is available for the 5K and 10K with ages 12 and under set at $17.
The virtual event includes a digital bib, event shirt, finisher medal and shipping of the packet, which will be mailed and shipped the Wednesday after the race; participants can upload times starting the day of the event. Shirts are guaranteed for registrations completed by midnight on Thursday two Thursdays before race day. Free ice cream is available at the finish.
