Heatwave Half Marathon - Lincoln
The Heatwave Half Marathon in Lincoln features a variety of distances held during the summer season. Participants can choose from multiple running options, including chip-timed races and untimed events for all ages.
The available distances include:
- 13.1 miles (Half Marathon and Half Marathon Relay)
- 10 km
- 5 km
- 1 mile
- 50 m (Kids Dash)
The 13.1 mile, 10 km, and 5 km events are chip-timed with live results and awards provided. The 1 mile and 50 m Kids Dash are untimed. The Kids Dash is specifically for participants aged 10 and under, with a free participation option available for children who do not require event merchandise. For the Half Marathon Relay, teams can be formed with any number of participants, though each member must register individually.
Participants receive a designer shirt, a custom bib, and a finisher medal. To guarantee a shirt, registration must be completed by midnight on the Thursday two weeks before the event. Free photos are provided to all participants, and ice cream is served at the finish line. A virtual race option is available for those who wish to complete their chosen distance at a different location while still receiving the event shirt and medal via mail.
