Angry Cow Night Run
The Angry Cow Night Run is a night trail running event on August 1, 2026, at Wagon Train Lake in Hickman, Nebraska. The event uses the East and South Trails around the lake with laps that return to the start area for water and snacks.

- 4 miles
- 8 miles
Registration opens March 5, 2026 and closes July 17, 2026. Entry fees are $25 for the 4-mile option and $35 for the 8-mile option. Fees include a shirt, medals for winners, snacks, and drinks.
Runners should bring a flashlight or headlamp for night navigation. Ruckers are welcome. Top three finishers receive awards. Tent and RV camping are available through Game and Parks.
If a participant becomes disoriented on course, the organizers suggest making animal noises as a way to signal location. The run is part of the Angry Cow Series. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
